Before the towers
Two days on a live South London site as RTT Tree Services felled and cleared a plot in Kidbrooke — captured across film, photography and drone, before the build begins.
The brief
RTT Tree Services took on the felling and clearance of a plot at Kidbrooke Village, Berkeley's housing development in South London — the skilled, unglamorous work that happens before the towers go up. Across two days on a live site, they wanted it captured properly: a hero film, reels for social, and a full bank of aerial and ground footage and stills.
The work
Two days on site, filming from the ground and the air. Climbers dismantling standing trees, an excavator and grapple bringing them down, chainsaw teams processing the timber — all threaded safely around a working construction site. Drone work placed it in context: the cleared plot set against the cranes and finished blocks of the wider development.
The result
A hero film, a set of vertical reels cut for social, and a bank of aerial and camera footage and stills — a complete record of the clearance that RTT can put to work across their marketing and tender submissions.
