A district in motion
A three-day commission for Chichester District Council — a considered portrait of place, people and public life, on the ground and from the air.
The brief
Chichester District Council commissioned a three-day shoot across the district — a considered portrait of place, people and public life, giving the council imagery and film that shows the district as it really is.
The work
Over three days I moved across the district with cameras and drone — documentary photography and film on the ground, aerial work above. Markets, coastline, countryside and streets, captured patiently rather than staged, then edited into a short film and organised into a full library of stills.
The result
One commission, a district's worth of content: a short film that shows the district in motion, and a photography library the council can keep drawing on long after the shoot — one visual language across every channel.
